About

Jason Piszczor is a filmmaker, photographer, web developer and nature lover originally from Northeast Ohio.

He began making films at age 13 after purchasing his first camera. Seven years later, while filming for a solar cell conference in Hawaii, Jason unexpectedly got the chance to make his first skydive which dramatically changed his outlook on life. Ever since, he has focused his talents on producing media that celebrates exploration and preservation of the natural world.

Fresh out of college, Jason spent a summer hiking solo and shooting time-lapse photography in the Sierra Nevadas and Idaho. With a newfound love of mountains and wide open landscapes, he relocated to Salt Lake City, UT and began working on projects with National Geographic explorer Mike Libecki.

Jason is a minimalist at heart who believes that egos and money are overrated. His passion for documentary filmmaking stems from his curiosity about the world and desire to maximize experiences.
